Business Travel Accident (BTA) insurance is provided to all active full-time U.S. and Canadian employees free of charge. Veolia’s accident insurer, ACE American Insurance Co., provides business travel accident insurance automatically–no enrollment is needed for this coverage. The plan provides a benefit in the event of injury or death while you are traveling 100 miles or more from home for business purposes. Accompanying dependents* of covered employees are also eligible for coverage under this policy.

The BTA policy includes world-wide travel assistance services for covered employees (and their accompanying dependents*) who travel for business. Covered employees can reach ACE’s multilingual response center to confirm coverage and obtain access to available services by calling toll-free, sending a fax, or by e-mail 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
