Life (Veolia Cares) and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Overview: 

Basic Life (Veolia Cares) and Basic AD&D Insurance:

  • Life insurance pays a benefit to your beneficiary in the event of your death. 
  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance provides an additional benefit to you or your beneficiary in the event of certain accidental losses or death.
  • Eligible employees are automatically enrolled for company-paid Basic Life and company-paid Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance through MetLife Group Life Insurance at two times base salary for Basic & AD&D insurance each.

Supplemental Life and Supplemental AD&D Insurance:

  • In addition to company-paid basic life and basic AD&D insurance,, you can also purchase supplemental life and supplemental AD&D coverage for yourself, your spouse, and/or your dependent children. 

Eligibility: 

  • All exempt, non exempt hourly and/or nonunion employees, working 20 hours or more per week as of date of hire. 
    • You cannot be covered as both an employee and a dependent.
  • Union employees  – please consult your CBA to determine your eligibility. 

Cost: 

  • Please visit the Rate Sheet on YourVeoliaBenefits.com site. 
  • Employees will see the cost per pay period when you log into the Benefit Enrollment system. 
  • Employees may elect coverage and will pay via payroll deductions.
