Volunteer Day (Veolia Cares)

Overview: 

Veolia North America (VNA) encourages all regular employees to engage in impact-oriented volunteer activities with recognized charities and community organizations aligned with the goals, purpose, values, and business priorities.

To ensure employees have the time required to advance their external engagement, VNA Veolia Cares Volunteer Day, which  translates into eight hours of Paid Time Off (PTO). The Veolia Cares Volunteer Day hours are above and beyond any current volunteer time already provided by select lines of business and do not replace any existing programs.

Eligibility: 

  • All exempt, non exempt hourly and/or nonunion employees, working 20 hours or more per week as of date of hire. 
  • Union employees  – please consult your CBA to determine your eligibility.
